Even though every major part of this magic formula has been around for a while - the origins of the Zenith El Primero 3600 movement and the fresh architecture introduced here by our Bilal Khan, about 10 years ago when we debuted the Striking 10 th, And the A386 Revival has been with us for over a year now in steel - and in this latest rendition they certainly come together beautifully. replica swiss watches
The Zenith Chronomaster Original E-Commerce Edition is sold in a coffee table book-like box that neatly conveys the three colored sub-dials and the flange ring around the edge of the dial tracks the blue, dark gray, light gray of said sub-dials The way the Striking 10th is not on its box, but on the wrist. Measuring just 38mm in diameter, it's more compact than most other luxury chronographs on sale today - but it has to be said that its ultra-thin bezel and long, chunky lugs stand out from the flat surface. Sticking out on the wrist, it's bigger than that number would suggest.
The white lacquered dial also adds to the grandeur, while the three overlapping sub-dials add a touch of vintage El Primero style, driven by a large red central chronograph seconds hand. Speaking of which, here's the Striking 10th - this second hand puts on a real show as it spins across the dial - not in 60 seconds, but in 10 seconds. That said, that's not where the name came from. No, the feature of the same name is the fact that this feature allows a clear display in 1/10 second increments thanks to the El Primero's 36,000 VpH (5 Hz) operating frequency. A flanged ring around the dial marks full and half-seconds, while an inner blue-gray light gray ring helps to read the tens more accurately. The Zenith El Primero 3600 Automatic caliber is chunkier both from a distance and in detail than the older 400-series calibers. The winding rotor, as well as the arm and bridge beneath it, appear to have been reinforced, and they do so in a reassuringly good way - although it has to be said that the previous generation El Primero has beautifully conveyed the original Sophistication of the movement for its time (1960s). The power reserve has been extended to 60 hours, which is impressive for a 5Hz movement; there is also a date at 4:30, and of course a column wheel and a horizontal clutch. The action is reassuring, clicky, and solid, though I do plan on getting one of these for a proper review to see how it performs over long-term use. best replica watch

Smaller watches tend to get the right look in their own way, with overall proportions working better in various design elements. This is even more true for chronographs - watches that are cool all the way are often ruined by bloated cases and subdials that have to be close together in the center of the dial due to the constraints of the movement construction... all of which In a 44+mm case. That's not to say larger chronographs shouldn't exist - they totally should. But the El Primero arguably looks best in this original 38mm size.
